LastPass – CSV Import Template
I recently switched our company to LastPass from another password manager. Unfortunately LastPass did not directly support the software we were using before so I needed to export all of the information, format it and re-import it. Through much trial and error I came up with an Excel formula that simplifies automating the import using the Generic CSV option.
I hope this will save time for someone else with their imports.
A few notes:
- If you don’t have a column heading the formula will exclude the column.
- LastPass recognizes commas as the delimiter for the import so the forumal replaces a comma with a semicolon.
